Medical Malpractice

Medical malpractice cases are a subset of personal injury cases. In a medical malpractice case, the negligent party is a medical professional such as a doctor. To prove liability in a medical malpractice case, you must prove that a doctor breached the accepted “standard of care” and this breach caused damages. Damages available to a medical malpractice plaintiff are often¬†similar to damages available in other personal injury suits, i.e, past and future medical bills, past and future pain and suffering, and loss of a normal life.

There are many types of medical malpractice cases. They can involve complications during surgery, missed diagnosis, hospital deaths, birth injuries, etc.

If you were injured as the result of medical malpractice, let us know what happened. We might be able to help.
